Kiran is a dynamic executive with nearly two decades of leadership in finance and operations supporting Healthcare industry. Her work blends rigorous financial stewardship with operational innovation and a passion for health equity. As a Chief Operating Officer at Aetna, Kiran has led strategy and execution through periods of growth, regulatory changes and operational transformation. Kiran oversees health plan functions including provider network development, value-based contracting, member and provider services, health plan and clinical operations, and population health management. 

As a seasoned professional with various roles in Healthcare and other industries, Kiran is known for driving brand growth, maximizing operational excellence and delivering financial performance. Prior to her current role, Kiran served as the Chief Financial Officer for Aetna Better Health of Mid-Atlantic region, where she led strategic budgets, forecasts and integrated multiple lines of business including Medicaid, ACA and DSNP. She has an extensive experience working in highly matrixed environment and thrives on challenges. She has also worked at McKesson as a Director of Customer Profitability, where she was responsible for maximizing profits for $8.0 billion of customer portfolio. She possesses excellent communication and problem-solving skills and uses her innovative mindset to solve complex issues. She has extensive experience in vendor and provider negotiations, managing complex projects, and delivering results. She has an ability to built consensus and rapport amongst all internal and external stakeholders. She brings to every role, a blend of strategic vision, technical rigor and pragmatism - delivering both financial results and stronger, more equitable programs for the community she serves. 

Kiran holds an MBA from Virginia Commonwealth University with concentration in Finance and Strategy, and a Bachelors of Science from University of Houston.  She also serves as the Chair for ITREB - Northeast.
