Dr. Zohray Talib

Executive Vice Dean for Education and Professor of Medicine at the California University of Science and Medicine

Dr. Zohray Talib is Executive Vice Dean for Education and Professor of Medicine at the California University of Science and Medicine. Dr. Talib brings a unique perspective as a practicing primary care clinician, educator, and researcher with experience developing and implementing healthcare programs across the United States and Sub-Saharan Africa.

In her academic role, Dr. Talib teaches clinical medicine, health policy, and health systems. As Director of the CUSM Center for Brain and Behavioral Health, she leads research, education and community initiatives focused on mental health and longevity.

Dr. Talib serves on the board for AKU Uganda, the Brain and Mind Institute’s International Advisory Board, and she is the Dean’s advisor for the University of Global Health Equity in Rwanda. She Co-Chairs the Global Forum of Innovation in Health Professions Education at the National Academy of Medicine.

Dr. Talib serves as Chair for the Aga Khan Social Welfare Board for the USA.
